It’s not just traveling around the world that can transport us to another world. Music also has a unique way of moving mountains and bringing us with it, especially during outdoor festivals. Summer breeze in your hair and a drink in your hand, dancing to the sound of your favorite songs while discovering new unsuspected rhythms, it doesn’t get better than that right? The festival season has just started and to put you in the mood, here are 7 festivals that you must add to your bucketlist if you are a passionate traveler and an inveterate music lover.
Roskilde
Scandinavia lover? If you’re touring the Nordic countries this summer, stop in Denmark from June 30 to July 7 for the Roksilde festival. Eminem, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Bruno Mars, Nine Inch Nails, First Aid Kit are among the headliners you can’t miss!
Each year, the festival chooses a different social cause to collectively contribute to a stronger society. This mission is the foundation of the event since all profits are distributed to a selected charity. The organizers strongly believe that music and art can change the world, so they want to engage and educate young people to participate in their social movement while having fun.
