The following photo was taken at 6am when we arrived in Reykjavik. The serenity and simplicity of this landscape have completely hypnotized us as soon as we arrived in this eclectic country.
After a 5 hour flight and a 45 minute bus ride, being in front of this majestic panorama was all we needed to recover from our long travels. From this moment, our vacation really started. The calm of the city, the contrast of the sky and the sound of the waves immediately made us fall in love with the Icelandic capital.
We should all take time for ourselves, to refocus and to find our happy place. You know, this place where you can escape to empty your head during a stressful time. This place where we can focus on what we feel, what we have accomplished, who we are now and who we want to become.
The Thingvellir National Park in Iceland is exactly this place for us. The wind hitting our faces and the incredible panorama are memories that we will never forget. Alone, surrounded by the millennial mountains worthy of the planet Mars, it was impossible for us to think of anything but the beauty around us.
The need to discover the world and to be able to share it with as many people as possible came to us, among others thoughts, from this moment. This is where our new journey began.
